The Grove Cafe & Deli in Ealing is a cozy spot that feels like a quiet retreat from the busier streets nearby. Sitting on a calm stretch of The Grove, it draws a steady flow of local residents—whether dropping in for a morning caffeine fix or settling down for a relaxed weekend breakfast.

This café leans into a casual, laid-back vibe with an emphasis on comfort food and well-prepared coffee. The menu features well-executed essentials like a full English breakfast that notably includes turkey bacon and sausage options, catering to those seeking a hearty start without the usual pork-based offerings. Hot drinks, including a notably good hot chocolate, and refreshing iced coffees, like iced lattes and mochas, are popular choices throughout the day.

The Grove’s clientele seems to appreciate its approachable atmosphere, making it a regular stop for couples, friends, and those who come alone with a book or laptop. It’s the sort of place where a quietly attentive staff member contributes to a welcoming, unhurried experience. The loyalty card system also encourages repeat visits, hinting at a community feel among frequents.

While prices have edged up recently, the café’s portion sizes and location—set back from the main road, offering a peaceful setting—remain strong points. Early brunch hours are particularly pleasant before the local daytime rhythm kicks in, but it also handles post-morning crowds without losing its relaxed pace.

In sum, The Grove Cafe & Deli is best for anyone looking for a substantial, reasonably priced breakfast or a straightforward coffee stop in a calmer patch of Ealing. It suits those who value friendly neighborhood service and a quiet atmosphere rather than a bustling café buzz.

Cozy little café in a calm street of Ealing. It has become a regular for my husband and I. Great English breakfast for a great price and delicious eggs benedict. We keep telling ourselves we'll try other things but it's hard when we really like what we know so far very kind staff as well and I like that every 10th café (or something like that) will be free if you have a stamped card. Honestly it deserved more reviews.

I had come in for a hearty breakfast after doing a walking marathon. The grove did not disappoint. Great coffee and full English breakfast, with a good portion.

Good coffee and food! We also really like that the full English has turkey bacon + turkey sausage.

Great as always. However, as a regular customer, I was disappointed to find that the prices have increased dramatically (about 30%) since my last visit. I used to prefer this place for its great price/performance and its peaceful location away from the main road. However, with the new prices, it now falls into the average breakfast price range, and I will likely choose a place closer to my house instead of coming all the way down here.

A friend and I were in Ealing wanting a Halal breakfast, we fortunately came across this gem! Lovely food, friendly staff and good service. Price point was great and the hot chocolate was really tasty too which was nice considering the cold weather. We will be back and I can't recommend this place enough. If you are nearby or just looking for a nice hearty breakfast at a quiet low-key cafe, this is the place. Close to Ealing shopping centre

used to live near here and visited the area today with one of the friends i used to live with. came here once before when it was kanenas. today had omelette with sourdough toast which was lovely, but the real star was the turkish coffee - easily the best one i've had! such a rich and complex flavour
